Development Update & New Release Window

We’ve made big strides on Nation Manager—but building a truly deep and realistic political simulator takes time. In this update, we’re sharing why we’ve decided to shift the release to late 2026— and why we believe the wait will be worth it.

Over the past year, we’ve been hard at work building Nation Manager into the political strategy game we’ve always wanted to play. From economic simulations and policy systems to dynamic population modeling and geopolitical events, every feature is crafted with the goal of realism, complexity, and meaningful player choice.

That ambition, however, comes at a cost: time.

We previously announced a spring 2025 release window. As we’ve progressed, it’s become clear that we need more time to reach the quality and depth we’re aiming for. Developing a simulation of this scale—especially with the level of realism and detail we’re committed to—takes more than code. It takes testing, iteration, and long-term thinking. And like many others working on passion projects, we’re balancing this development with full-time work and family responsibilities.

With that in mind, we’re shifting the release window to late 2026.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one. We want Nation Manager to be a strategy game that holds up not just for a few hours, but for the long run. A game that invites experimentation, sparks reflection, and rewards both intuition and analysis.

In the months ahead, we’ll continue to share development updates, behind-the-scenes insights, and sneak peeks at features as they come together. Your interest, questions, and encouragement mean a lot—and we can’t wait to share more with you soon.

Thank you for your patience, and for being part of this journey. Nation Manager is still coming—and we believe it’ll be worth the wait.
